🔢 Unit IV: GEOMETRY
BPT (Thales Theorem)
Description: Basic Proportionality Theorem: A line drawn parallel to one side of a triangle divides the other two sides in the same ratio.
Similarity Criterion (AA)
Description: If two angles of one triangle are respectively equal to two angles of another triangle, then the two triangles are similar.
Similarity Criterion (SAS)
Description: If one angle of a triangle is equal to one angle of another triangle and the sides including these angles are proportional, the triangles are similar.
Tangent Property 1
Description: The tangent at any point of a circle is perpendicular to the radius through the point of contact.
Tangent Property 2
Description: The lengths of tangents drawn from an external point to a circle are equal.
Chapter “Constructions” has no formulae yet. Content is being prepared.
Area of Sector
Description: Where θ is the angle of the sector.
Length of Arc
Description: Where θ is the angle subtended by the arc.
Area of Segment
Description: Formula to find the area of a minor segment.
